Palazzo pants are long women’s trousers, that flares out from the waist. It first became a popular trend in the late 1960s and 1970s. Palazzo pants bring the style, keep the comfort level up.
Palazzo pants flare out evenly from the waist to the ankle and are therefore different from bell bottoms, which are snug until they flare out from the knee. Palazzo pants are also not to be confused with Gaucho trousers, which only extend down to mid-calf length. Harem pants are yet another loose style, but they have a snug cuff around the ankles.
They are popular as a summer season style because it’s loose and flattering in the light. There are different kinds of fabric for palazzo pants but the best fabric for summer is something which flows and are breathable in hot weather. Palazzo pants are not often seen in winter months, but they may be found in woollen or heavy fabric as well.
The important thing is how well you carry it. If you don’t wear it the right way it’s awful then, but if you team if with the right top and accessorise it well then it’s as beautiful as you. 🙂 But, don’t be scared to experiment with palazzo pants, they are really easy to wear.
