CHAKRA (Review)

Dad, mum, sis & I had gone out for lunch to Chakra’s which is situated in Sakinaka junction. I really love this place for two reasons one that they have amazing food and second is that I have some amazing memories here with my family. Also, since childhood I’ve been visiting this place feels good to talk and connect with South Indians there. Don’t worry it’s not a South Indian restaurant! The ambience is absolutely good and it felt as if I was sitting on a cruise ship. That feeling totally made my day. Interior is good and the music there is so soothing. All in all, it was nice and warm.

Oh, my goodness from where should I start. The food was so good in taste that I’m confused ok I will start with the starters. Since we went late for lunch and were super hungry we had no patience to order for starters and then the main course and because we love crispy chicken we ordered for it with the main course. Crispy Chicken is my all time favourite and I think they make the best. This was the only starter that we ordered and trust me I was almost full. The quantity & the quality is fabulous!! The best part was the crisp which was still there till my last bite. Crispy, juicy, soft boneless chicken pieces with sweet and spice in it. So my mum and dad ordered Murg Lucknowi Chicken & Kulcha light green thick curry with some strong spices. When I tasted a little bit of curry I totally disliked it but I saw mom and dad really liking and enjoying it so looking at them once more I tasted and I took spoon full of curry it was yum at once when you taste it’s quite confusing actually those strong spices confuse your taste buds but as you eat it, it’s best & different. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The Kulcha was fine but it gets hard so after one point it’s annoying to eat. Then comes Chicken Asian Oriental Fried Rice this was a huge shock for me and my sister it was the best out of all. We never expected it to be this good. Actually while placing the order we wanted to try something new and different so they suggested us this. They served and I was like goodness this looks quite dry how will I have it but as soon I took a bite my eyes popped out. The rice was properly cooked the only thing that it was a bit oily but the veggies were pan-fried so that can be ignored and the herbal taste with some rosemary and properly cooked chicken make this dish star of the night. This dish is a must try. I would give 81/10 for this!!

www.evamaude.coTalking about desserts what impressed me the most is that they asked if we want to see the menu or the display and listening to display we were like display, display, display totally acting like kids you see. If you see in the above picture the tray is filled with a variety of desserts. It was so difficult to choose I had a tough time.

We then ordered for some Malai kulfi & Choco Lava cake with ice-cream. It was delish. The cake tasted so well I could have it all day long.

This place is a must visit if you’re reading this. Great Value for money, quality and quantity!!

Wonderful blog! I found it while browsing on Yahoo News.

Do you have any suggestions on how to get listed in Yahoo News?

I’ve been trying for a while but I never seem to get there!
    Appreciate it
